ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Scott Lobdell, writer
Two time WIZARD-award winning writer Scott Lobdell is most closely associated with his seven year run on Marvel's UNCANNY X-MEN, as well as his co-creation with artist Chris Bachalo on the same company's GENERATION X. He has also worked on series such as WILDCATS, THE DARKNESS, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and KISS! While keeping one foot firmly planted in the comc book industry with such creator owned properties as BALL AND CHAIN and THE STRAY, Scott is currently writing television pilots, direct to DVD movies (for comic book legend Stan Lee) and feature films in Hollywood: his first produced film is Revolution Studios' MAN OF THE HOUSE starring Tommy Lee Jones.
John Nee, writer
John Nee is a Media Business Development executive living in New York City. Over the years, he has developed a series of neuroses which ultimately led to the co-creation of The Mixtionary as a coping mechanism. He hopes that the publication of this book will lead to a lucrative career creating names for new cars and pharmaceutical products.
Mia Christou, writer
Mia Christou is a former financial news reporter, Elite Model, Writer, and Actor. Currently living in the UK, she has resided all over the world and has appeared in print ads and Japanese horror movies. While an equal contributor, as the only female member of the Mixtionary team, she has been dragged kicking and screaming into the role of
reigning in the adolescent behavior of her partners John and Scott to prevent them from going completely off the rails with childish words about flatulence and women's menstrual cycles.
What a threesome they make! It is quite a team: a microcosm with clashes of politics and the sexes, just like life. We co-exist – as the world has to, and together it works. We got Mixtionary written and published, despite the distance and time zone differences, we used what we had and it is great fun!
